Connecting Students

Graceland’s vision is to TRANSFORM our neighborhoods, the next generation, and the nations through Jesus Christ, as we GATHER together in united worship & teaching; GROW in relationship as we follow Jesus; and GO to unleash compassion as we share with others.

The Student Ministry staff and leaders are excited to be agents of transformation in the lives of the next generation! We love spending time with and teaching students on a regular basis. We have opportunities available to students grade 6, all the way through college to GATHER, GROW and GO together!

upcoming event - mix

July 10-14, 2017

MIX is specifically designed for the special cognitive and developmental abilities of students in grades 6-8. While there, they’ll build relationships with other students and leaders as they come to understand their own spiritual formation, and grow as Kingdom Workers. This year, we will be looking at the life of Peter, and how everything changed when he encountered Jesus Christ!

Registration is now CLOSED

upcoming event - SPARTAN CHALLENGE

July 29-30, 2017

Spartan Challenge is a free, highly anticipated event for students in grades 6-12, where small groups compete against each other for bragging rights and the coveted Spartan Helmet trophy. Students will test their strength, endurance and intellect as they work together as a team to complete each challenge.

What to Expect: Students check in on the evening of Saturday, July 29, will stay overnight and then be dismissed after church at noon on Sunday, July 30. There will be times of games, worship and community building in both large and small groups. Students should expect to get dirty & wet during the challenge portion, but will have the opportunity to shower and clean up.
